It’s not strange to lose our way sometimes. Our stories are hardly straightforward, now and then confusing, and even lonely. Conflicting voices obscure our perspective. My name is Celina, and I would like to sit with you in these moments of uncertainty, and help you listen to the words within you left unsaid. My beginnings in this field took root in support of Filipino children and youth: co-creating storybooks for children and their guardians to understand and cope with trauma, enhancing a parenting intervention that aims to mend parent-teen relationships, and developing cross-cultural research on bullying in high schools. At the heart of my work is a genuine love for nurturing spaces where self-expression, compassion, and growth intersect. I take an eclectic approach and often combine practices from mindfulness, CBT, and expressive therapies. Through our conversations, we will untangle your thoughts and feelings, weave coherence into your experiences, and hold them with kindness and acceptance – as all stories are meant to be heard.
