Description:

Maxine Pinson earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University and has been a licensed psychologist since 2016, ranking fifth in the Licensure Exam for Psychologists.  Bringing a decade of dedicated clinical practice to her work, she has guided clients across corporate, educational, hospital, and group clinical practice settings.

Before pursuing psychology, she focused on early childhood education and volunteered extensively in correctional and drug rehabilitation centers.  These experiences deepened her understanding that while our history influences who we are, we all hold the capacity to heal and transform.  Recognizing this underscored the vital importance of mental health support, ultimately shaping her path as a clinician.

Maxine is dedicated to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care, and firmly believes that personal growth and healing are fostered through meaningful connections.  This philosophy forms the foundation of her practice, ensuring that every client feels understood, valued, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

Utilizing a client-centered approach, she integrates various evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, etc.) to support adolescents and adults in their healing journeys.  Her integrative approach ensures that each client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and goals.
