Have you been feeling uneasy lately? Do you feel like you’re not yourself, but can’t seem to pinpoint what’s going on? Do you feel like you’re merely floating through life without aim or purpose? Regardless of what you are going through, I can be your companion in times of crisis, confusion, life changes, or even in the day-to-day life journey. I am Tina Enriquez, and I am here to listen and help you find your voice, your inner wisdom and strength, so you can come to your own insights and awareness about what is affecting you, and how you can best move forward. I will collaborate with you in working towards your therapy goals as well as in tracking your progress. I use an eclectic approach and employ psychoeducation, client-centered, cognitive behavioral, as well as mind-body strategies, depending on your identified goals. Although you may initially choose to see me because of my professional credentials, I assure you that I am also a person who has had my share of ups and downs and detours in life. This helps me not only to empathize, but also to learn from you as we work together. I previously worked in Human Resources and Consultancy, but felt compelled to shift gears and take my Master’s in Counseling Psychology to help people on a more personal level. I began my journey as a therapist in working with children. I have extensive experience in child-centered play therapy, and have seen children bloom as they explore, express, and challenge themselves in this safe space. Supporting the family and giving parents handles on how to deal with their child is also integral in the process. I also have years of experience in psychological assessment. Over the years, I have helped clients gain clarity and understand the factors influencing their or their child’s functioning, and provided relevant recommendations to address the reason for referral.
