Vange Alianan-Bautista, completed her Masteral degree in Counseling Psychology at the Ateneo de Manila University and is a certified Clinical Psychologist of the Psychological Association of the Philippines. She is also a certified CT/RT practitioner under the William Glasser Institute. As a clinical psychologist, Vange conducts play therapy for children, psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, couples therapy, group facilitation for various populations, seminars and workshops for a variety of psychology related topics. With over 20 years of clinical work, Vange adopts a cognitive & humanistic approach in dealing with clients’ cases. Previous experiences include a stint with ABS-CBN Foundation’s Community and Family Service arm, consultancy work for a children’s show and regular guesting as psychologist for a TV series. She has volunteered in various NGOs and socio-civic groups, including church youth animation, prison ministry work, and is currently sitting as a board member of a couple of educational institutions. Her extensive background and exposure to diverse groups and situations give her a very broad perspective in dealing with her clients. Vange studied at the University of the Philippines taking BS Business Administration and Accountancy, where she graduated Cum Laude and placed 5th in the CPA board exam. After spending 7 years of finance work in the corporate world, she shifted to the field of Psychology. She finds her present work more meaningful and satisfying. She is married and has a young adult son.
