Group therapy is developed to address needs of a homogenous group of clients (e.g., group play therapy, trauma therapy and support group sessions). It allows clients to discuss similar experiences, realize the universality of shared experiences, and find resolution and support in a safe, therapeutic atmosphere.
For adults, we have conducted support groups for single or separated parents, partners who have lost their spouses, parents or guardians with a chronically ill or differently-abled child, and caregivers looking after children with special needs. If you are part of a community or group seeking for professionals to facilitate group discussions or activities, please contact us.
