As a consultant psychologist at a private school, Dr. Briones works with children with learning and behavioral problems, developmental disorders, social skills difficulties, and interpersonal trauma. She also conducts psychological assessment, play therapy, psychotherapy with adolescents and adults, seminars and workshops. Earlier in her practice, she worked as an assessing psychologist at the Department of Pediatrics, Philippine General Hospital. Her professional experience includes developing social skills programs, seeing children and parents for parent-child play sessions, conducting short-term therapy sessions for employees, and designing and conducting therapeutic interventions for individuals in special situations (e.g., those with chronic illness). With adults, she has worked with individuals who experience mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, parenting, and relationship/ marital problems. She is also an accredited Affiliate Provider under the Employee Assistance Program of Workplace Options, UK. As a resource person, she conducts continuing education workshops for professionals and seminars on parenting and school-related topics. She speaks English and Filipino.

Zsa Zsa was a recipient of the Outstanding Alumni, Fr. Angel de Blas Award given by the Department of Psychology, University of Sto. Tomas. She was also Co-Investigator in a research funded by the International Diabetes Federation for a pioneering study to investigate the psychological and medical factors affecting Filipino adults with diabetes. The research team helped create the Filipino translation of the WHO-5 Well-Being Index. She is currently undergoing training and supervision for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This type of psychotherapy helps individuals who experienced trauma and emotional distress.
