As a consultant psychologist at a private school, Dr. Briones works with children with learning and behavioral problems, mood and anxiety disorders, interpersonal trauma, and developmental disorders. She also conducts psychological assessment, play therapy, psychotherapy with adolescents and adults, seminars and workshops.

She has worked as an assessing psychologist at the Department of Pediatrics, Philippine General Hospital. Zsa Zsa was a recipient of the Outstanding Alumni, Fr. Angel de Blas Award given by the Department of Psychology, University of Sto. Tomas. She is also Co-Investigator in a research funded by the International Diabetes Federation for a pioneering study to investigate the psychological and medical factors affecting Filipino adults with diabetes.
