After working 7 years in the field of finance, Ms. Alianan-Bautista pursued a masters degree in Psychology and found meaning and satisfaction in life in this kind of work. She applies her well-honed finance skills at PsychConsult as its Finance and Administrative Director. She has handled clients with learning and emotional problems, developmental delays, mood and anxiety disorders.

Apart from serving as a co-author in research presentations on intervention for selective mutism clients, she previously worked with Bantay Bata 163 in conceptualizing, managing and implementing its Community and Family Services. Vange also writes a column on family for Good Housekeeping-Philippines with Dr. Boboy Alianan. Currently, she appears on the GMA News TV show, Personalan, as a resident psychologist.
